Fine everyday phone

Have been an LG fan for some time, From a flip phone thru the Nexus 4,5 and to the V10. In an effort to scale back, 2 friends suggested the Stylo 2+ but it was too late...Stylo 3+ was out and I must say, it's surprising for the price. If you have a moderately active job and don't feel good about carrying a $500+ piece of equipment, this is for you. Has most of the features you might want but the compromises seem minor... to wit..
I miss the manual camera controls of the V10 and the higher res screen. Pics from the 13mp cam seem a little fuzzy on the HD screen but are much better once downloaded. With the slower processor, it will occasionally freeze for about 5-10 sec...even playing solitaire. Knowing this might ease your mind when it happens the first time.
The fingerprint scanner is faster and more accurate than the V10 was. Battery life is excellent with moderate use and fast charging works fine. The speaker is a compromise but it seems to be that way on most LG's lately. Plastic case, yes, but put a tech21 case on it and a self-healing screen protector and it will survive better. I was told the glass screen protectors did not work well with the Stylo 3+. No issues with wifi or bluetooth and the mobile hotspot does the job too. I carry a stylus with me anyway to the included one is just a back up for me but the apps available when removing the stylus can be useful. This will work fine until the V30 drops in price...LoL
